I’m thinking about working on this story after I finish and publish Tilgi (which might be a while) but I’m enjoying working on a little bit of it. I might write more about this story or about other things as well. Stay tuned!

I trot down the rows of stalls with my rider atop my back and a trainer guiding me through. My race is coming up soon.

“Hey! Watch it!” a unicorn shouts as a pegasis shoves past. Looks like this is going to be yet another rough, grumpy day at the races.

An excitable unicorn trots up quickly behind me. Oh, no. You aren’t passing me.

I pick up my pace but the human refuses to go any faster and the rider pulls me back.

Ugh. If only I could break free from the rains of these humans. If only I could run free.
